Providence’s best kept secret, Badman, bring their fiery twang-noir to AS220 tonight along with NYC’s Demander, our very own Barn Burning and from Isreal, Monotonix. Comparisons to the Birthday Party and Nick Cave do not do Badman enough justice, their music is deep, dark and frightening. They have a song on their page called ‘Stir With Knives’ and every time, I mis-read it as ‘To Sir, With Knives’ which I think is way better.
