AREA C is hosting two more live experimental music performances at the Cormack Planetarium at the Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park. (This is an extension of the spring series that was sponsored by Rhode Island State Council on the Arts). Performances will feature AREA C in collaboration with another RI experimental musician, accompanied by a specially designed planetarium display (this is not a laser light show; it will feature the planetarium’s Zeiss star projector, astral phenomenon, planetary expedition images and much more). The shows last spring were very successful, so we hope you’ll come out to catch one (or both!) of these special shows:
DATES:
Friday November 9th: AREA C with mem1
Saturday November 17th: AREA C with Black Forest / Black Sea
Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts at 7:30pm and lasts approx. 45 minutes.
The museum will be open for browsing prior to the show. Currently on display is the awesome 3D Mars photo exhibit.
Admission is $3 (these shows are not RISCA-funded; proceeds will go to the performers)
