Vermont town may arrest Bush for perjury, war crimes

supertrooperz Holy crap!

Brattleboro residents will vote at town meeting on whether President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should be indicted and arrested for war crimes, perjury or obstruction of justice if they ever step foot in Vermont.

The Brattleboro Select Board voted 3-2 Friday to put the controversial item on the Town Meeting Day warning…

So far, Vermont is the only state Bush hasn’t visited since he became president in 2001.

This photo was taken of the president the last time he was in Vermont:

Any legal action around this would be sensational, which is why in real terms this amounts to little more than a “Stay the fuck out of Vermont” from the Town of Brattleboro to the president.

However, US. v Nixon aside for one moment, let’s remember some our most comically criminal presidents:

Mr. President, How Fast You Were You Going?

Ulysses S. Grant was convicted of exceeding the speed limit while riding with his horse in the streets of Washington, D.C. late one night. The accusing police officer was reluctant to issue the $20 fine when he realized that the offender was President Grant, but Grant insisted the he be fined.

And If You Think THAT’S Bad…

President Franklin Pierce was arrested during his term as President for running over an old lady with his horse, but the charges were later dropped.
