Today! 8pm! Brown Hillel, 80 Brown Street!
Story and Power: A training on community organizing
Seth Leibson will conduct a training on behalf of the Jewish Organizing Initative, on how you can use your story to be more effective in making change on campus and in the world–stuff he really wishes he knew when he was a student activist. The training will be a taste of the Jewish Organizing Initiative, and anyone interested in the fellowship is especially invited. There will be a Q&A about JOI after the training for interested folks.
This event is sponsored by Providence’s new Moishe House… what’s a Moishe House you ask? Well according to the house organizers, Nathaniel Lepp and Jesse Stout, “The purpose of the Moishe House is to create community among young people and foster an innovative and inclusive space inspired by the Jewish philosophy of Tikkun Olam or “repairing the world.” We have the resources to create events centered around pretty much anything we choose, so please accept our invitation to collaborate with us — our Moishe House is your Moishe House.”

nice license plate-twice the number of Jews have received the Medal of Honor as have served on the US Supreme Court, but you will never hear that from so-called”Jewish spokesmen”like Alan Dershowitz and Abe Foxman because they are ignorant of such facts that don’t fit their view of Jews
