Primitive, brutal, and relentless, Providence’s Black Clouds bring their grinding stomp-blues to AS220 tonight. They exist somewhere between an adolescent Jon Spencer in a wind tunnel and Nirvana’s Bleach, what with the screaminess and all. Absolutely glorious in their sheer volume alone, and after the jump some live footage that pretty much sums it up. As for the rest of the bill, that’s somewhat less clear. Over at Lots Of Noise they’re saying Boston’s Hospital Rats, White Load and New Haven’s Estrogen Highs while at AS220 they’re claiming Brooklyn’s Live Fast Die and Jersey’s Home Blitz with White Load.
