This is an esteemed panel, representing a variety of ideologies, and more rigorous than the talk radio rants and Projo screeds that seem to dominate so much of RI’s political discourse:
The Taubman Center for Public Policy is sponsoring a panel discussion about our state budget crisis. It will be held at Brown on 7 pm, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in room 117, MacMillan Hall. Our speakers include: Darrell M. West, moderator, Gary Sasse, director, Rhode Island Department of Revenue, Linda Katz, policy director, Poverty Institute, Rhode Island College, Paul Choquette, Jr., chairman, Gilbane, Inc., and Bob Walsh, executive director, National Education Association.
