With a voice firmly rooted in folk and wintery jazz, Roz Raskin’s delicate and impressive song writing skills should place her as one of the brightest new solo performers in Providence and her show at AS220 tonight should prove that to any doubters. On “Here’s To Silence” she sings softly over that great classic electric piano sound, her voice wrapped in warm fuzz and nothing else. It’s a spare sound that works perfectly for her. On “Reindeer Tracks” it’s the acoustic guitar that serves as the sole accompaniment for a bright, melancholy tune; her gentle voice free of the fuzz and wonderfully up front. Joining Ms. Roskin on the bill is the two-piece cello-pop of The Red Attire, along with Stalemate and 14 Foot 1 AS220, 9pm, $6
