The Black Air Foundation (BAF) is hosting a Special Fundraiser event to Benefit the Lambert Lima Flying Squadron Cadet Program on Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 7:00-9:00PM at the Cape Verdean Progressive Center, 329 Grosvenor Avenue, East Providence.
Founded in 2005 by former RI State Representative, Brown class of ‘48, former NAACP Providence chapter president, and Tuskegee Airman George S. Lima, the Black Air Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering minority youth through education and training. [...]

And check out this footage of George Lima discussing his experience returning from service in WWII to find that race relations in the U.S. had remained stagnant. Lima and the Tuskegee Airmen were recently honored by President Bush.
