Well that was fast! News of the former coke den-turned-just-plain-den’s closure came to me last night from a few of the guys who worked with me there and the official word was spread today via Myspace: “Sorry to inform you that the bar is closed for now…” I will fondly remember these past 8 Thursdays of over-pouring, over-sharing, and pretending I know how to make White Russians. Those Bloody Marys were pretty good though, right Shar?

…and that had nothing to do with the fact that he generally buys (or steals, who’s counting?) me at least one drink upon my arrival. Or that he’s like my best friend. He makes a mean bloody mary and he looks damn good doing it. You know ladies, he’s single too…
