It was very boring and emotionally unfulfilling.
Muxtape, which has the letter U in it for some reason, is a website where you can make a “mixtape” (or, you know, playlist) by uploading mp3s and then putting them in an order. You can only have twelve songs, for some reason, and they can be of any length, which is very un-mixtapey. Also, the interface is dull, and you can’t do any of the fun things you can do with real mixtapes like naming the sides and decorating the packaging with things you cut out from magazines and winding the thing with a pencil so the song will start at exactly the right moment. And clicking on the links to buy the mp3s gives you lots of karaoke versions from the Amazon store as results.
Nevertheless, here’s a dozen jammyjams to get you through your hump day. Since there’s no convenient way to figure out what the songs sound like next to each other I pretty much put the first twelve songs I could think of. Don’t judge me, please.

Nate Billings Says:
You might want to check out imeem.com, they have been doing this for a couple of years before muxtape came along. Not a huge amount of potential for cutting out and personalizing the sleevnotes either, and there really is no limit on duration - want a 4 day rock opera mixtape? imeem will do it.
at least imeem is legal
