Okay, maybe I can just drown out the damn bird. Taking a page from the Radiohead playbook, Nine Inch Nails is offering their/his/its new album “The Slip” free-of-charge.

In a post on the band’s web site the band’s leader, Trent Reznor, said, “Thank you for your continued and loyal support over the years — this one’s on me.”

According to The New York Times, Coldplay is jumping on the ‘free’ bandwagon as well… thing is, their music should be free.
