What’s crazier than a ten-year old giving birth?
A single human giving birth 18 times!
The Duggars’ oldest child, Josh, is 20, and the youngest, Jennifer, is nine months old.
The fast-growing family lives in Tontitown in northwest Arkansas in a 7,000-square-foot home. All the children—whose names start with the letter J—are home-schooled.
Duggar has been been pregnant for more than 11 years of her life, and the family is in the process of filming another series for Discovery Health.
While some people might try to stereotype a family in Arkansas with 18 kids, all of whose names start with the letter J, presumably in honor of their father, Jim Bob, I have to say that the couple seem happy, sane and wholesome on the youtubez:

The Duggars, it should be noted, stand in seemingly stark contradiction of egghead Professor Daniel Gilbert’s recent, ghastly study showing an inverse relationship between the number of children you have and your happiness.
Of course, some musty old “US and European studies had shown that people’s happiness did spike while they were expecting a baby but sharply plummeted after the child was born.” So it could be that The Duggars are sustaining artificially high levels of happiness by being in the process of having a baby for 11 years straight.
If amniotic fluid can turn a puppy green, what can’t it do?
Nevertheless, in conclusion, if you want to have 18 children, home school them and raise them with a strict system of family justice in which you term chores “jurisdictions,” and can, on top of this Herculean endeavor of love, then parlay that into a series on Discovery Health, then God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

I dunno, it looks like a monogamist version of the the Texas FLDS story to me.
Prairie skirts? Check! Big pompadour bangs? Check! Bush/Cheney/Evolution is a lie/ bumper stickers on the van? Check! That “stay sweet” demeanor? Check!
I’d be perfectly happy to live and let live but families like the Duggars are a part of the wingnut religious right that believes in christian dominion through procreation.
