For anyone interested in becoming involved in, or for those who are already involved in some way, tiny or large, in the growing world of filmmaking in Rhode Island, the RIFC are dong some wonderful things. The list is too large to really go into in depth here, so check out their new snazzed-up website. (where’s our new snazzed-up website?) But the best thing they do are the monthly meetings held at The Wild Colonial. These very informal get togethers are open to anyone in any field of filmmaking; writing, editing, sound, acting, makeup, anything, and are a great way to simply network and meet other like-minded folks.
