Sphere: Related ContentThe season will kick off in June with two blacksmithing courses, Beginning Blacksmithing and Forging Steel Jewelry, both taught by visiting artist April Franklin. The rest of the summer is packed with offerings in Ceramics, Jewelry, Metalworking, and Bike Maintenance. These courses will fill up fast, so sign up early and spend your long summer days making and exploring at the Steel Yard.

that slip casting class with professor peter looks exceedingly good.
mold making. multiples. plaster. two or more part molds from found objects. carving styrofoam. constructing paper models. assemblage by wet and dry joining techniques followed by firing and glazing. think outside the functional ceramic box.
