Ok, maybe I am a little biased as a co-producer of this festival - but you haven’t seen Providence in all its glory if you haven’t been to Sound Session! Get out this week to Black Rep. Come downtown on Friday night. Don’t miss Saturday. The weather is looking good. The music is off the hook and the parade and block party are, in my opinion, the closest thing there is to global unity that we can see up close and personal! Really, if you want to feel good about the world and where we can go, please join me, Donald W. King and Mayor Cicilline, as well as every other enlightened being in the city for THE event of the Providence Summer!
