Having recently moved from Providence, RI to Pittsburgh (to do my doctorate at Pitt, not because I dislike RI), everyone out here seems to find it strange that not only do we drink coffee-flavored milk, but that it was part of our lunch menu in elementary school! Also, no one else in the world calls a clam a quaohog or a water fountain a bubbler. But those are the reasons you just gotta love RI. Besides, every place has its own weird customs.

My god, they thought Chelo’s was weird? Unpleasant I could see, but weird?

No, Dave. We’re not weird. New Jersey is weird. (I mean, look at that article…)
