ProPAC, which is more or less the political action committee of the General Assembly’s Progressive Caucus, is now taking donations online.
It’s election season, and a number of progressive incumbents have challengers, with at least one — yours truly — in a primary election battle. There are also more than a dozen open seats, many of which are being contended by viable progressive candidates.
(We’re not supporting candidates who are running against incumbents.)
ProPAC’s intention is to develop a birds-eye view of the political landscape, support candidates where help is most needed, and build broader and deeper power for the left in Rhode Island.
