The New Yorker has declined over the years. The cartoon cover is aimed at satirizing critics of Obama, but the image may backfire on its creators. It is sopho, oric in any event. Why is a “fist bump” of any significance? We have energy, finance, nuclear confrontation, terrorism, immigration, food price issues.etc….and a fist bump gets noticed? It is a Maury Povitch world after all.
