		<description>I think he'd be perfect: solidly liberal, military/foreign policy experience to back up Obama. He was against the war from the start, worried about terrorism before 9/11 and would absolutely wreck whatever hack the republicans choose in the VP debates. I don't think that swing state calculus usually does much, better to have a strong choice who also reassures voters about BHO. Is there any chance the assembly would be able to change the senator replacement rule so that we'd have a special election instead of appointment by the governor?</description>
