“A puppet show and animated film by New Urban Arts Students, Thursday July 31, 2008 (6-9pm) in the Armory Park:
New Urban Arts presents “Dear Providence,” an event featuring new and exciting work and performances of New Urban Arts students in our summer Art Inquiry Program.
Under the open sky experience a magical toy theater performance in which a letter addressed to Providence travels through foreign lands, finding its way home. Be also entertained by whimsical stop motion animation films where a series of still photographs make objects come to life.
Prior to the performance, experience an outdoor sound installation, enjoy the Farmer’s Market, and tap into your own creativity in art making and yoga workshops.”
