… they know from spectacle. The opening ceremonies last night were mind blowing. I was watching on hi-def and I still don’t know what the hell I was looking at half the time. Of course, for me, the highlight of the evening was finding out that the Chinese national anthem is called ‘The March of the Volunteers’. The New York Times has a swell slide show. These drummers kicked the whole thing off.
