Novak asks for our sympathy

7:31AM ON 09/06/2008
BY Dave Segal

For his hit-and-run of a month ago, which illuminated his brain cancer.

And he deserves sympathy:  People are a function of their circumstances, — something largely recognized by liberals, and ignored/denied by conservatives.

So let’s hope that those who stand by Novak recognize the broader philosophical-socio-political implications of their support for him.

One Comment on “ Novak asks for our sympathy ”

  1. Novak is kind of a mean prick.I am sure he could do without the sympathy of left wingers who hate him.It is ironic that Novak and Kennedy both have the same or similar conditions and they are otherwise such diametrically opposed people.I was never a big Novak fan and I could never stand Kennedy,so I won’t be the least concerned when he goes, but watch how all the hypocrites who probably wished him dead a thousand times will be drowning in crocodile tears.
