14th International Women’s Playwriting Festival

Promoting women playwrights since 1995, Perishable Theatre has chosen from 190 submissions the winners for the International Women’s Playwriting Festival October 2-November 2. All three groundbreaking playwrights will have their new works produced and fully staged at Perishable Theatre and are presented with performances by other local artists. Each performance will include a post show talk back.

  • October 2-October 5:  Lazarus Disposed by Desi Moreno-Penson
  • October 9-October 12:  Lizzy Izzy by Holly Jensen
  • October 16-October 19:  Biography of a Constellation by Lila Rose Kaplan

October 2- November 2, Thursdays-Saturdays 8pm, Sundays at 3pm

When: October 2-November 2, 2008
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8pm
Sundays 3pm
Where: Perishable Theatre, 95 Empire Street, Providence RI

TICKETS: Ticket prices are $20 general admission/$15 students, seniors, military/$10 for Perishable members. Discount rates available for groups of 6 or more. Students, Seniors and Military personnel must present a valid form of identification at the box office to claim their tickets.
