Free Super Summer Clothing Swap

pile of clothesSuper Summer Clothing Swap will take place on Saturday, June 27th from 12 noon to 5pm. This is a free community event organized and promoted by Hannah Winkler, a 2009 graduate of Classical High School. This event is open to the public. It will take place at New Urban Arts, 743 Westminster Street, Providence. The clothing swap is an event for Providencians to get rid of old (lightly used) clothing they no longer want and have their pick of piles of secondhand clothes.

To be able to receive clothes, participants must bring at least one item of unwanted clothing to the swap (although bringing more is encouraged). Tables and blankets will be set up for participants to display clothing. Most importantly, this event is totally free! No money will be exchanged for clothing. Any leftovers at the end of the day will be transported to the Salvation Army.

Come to get free clothes, reduce clothing waste (secondhand is a form of recycling), and have some summer fun at the Super Summer Clothing Swap!
