Coming here! To Rhode Island! According to the ProJo on August 6th the Rhode Island International Film Festival will be awarding William Shatner,
. . . the first-ever Nathanael Greene Humanitarian Award . . . the former Capt. Kirk gets the humanitarian moniker for his work with the Nerine Shatner Friendly House (named after his late wife) and his contributions to The Wells Fargo Charity House and the American Tinnitus Association.
This will be followed by a screening of the documentary William Shatner’s Gonzo Ballet wherein dancers perform to music/spoken word stuff recorded by Shatner with Henry Rollins and other people. So there you go — Shatner and Rollins yelling at each other to help put an end to that ringing in your ears. Clip from movie after jump.
