Pee-wee Herman will be Conan’s guest tonight on The Tonight Show. He may be promoting his upcoming stage show (this January at Club Nokia in L.A.). This is a good time to remind people that if you have never seen Pee-wee’s Christmas Special then you need to do so. It should be part of your Christmas video collection by now. Go to the Pee-wee Herman website and you can see the opening number (with the US Marine Corps Choir) on Magic Screen. See a young Larry Fishburn as Cowboy Curtis, and a parade of totally random celebrity guests many of whom are now dead. The show features K.D. Lang singing ‘Jingle Bell Rock’, a version I really need on my Christmas playlist.

Pee Wee and Conan riding those life-sized Roombas was pretty funny, but not as funny as the puppies dressed as Thanksgiving dinner.
