Fall Book Sale

9:30AM ON 09/23/2011
BY The Librarienne

What better way to celebrate the upcoming banned books week than by buying armfuls of books, magazines and movies for super cheap? The Friends of Warwick Public Library fall book sale is this weekend at the main library.

Money earned from the book sale supports the library collection and library programs for children and adults, so you get all kinds of warm fuzzies along with great deals.

Sale begins Friday with the Friends of the Library ‘members only’ sneak preview from 6pm to 9pm.  Non-members can join at the door for $10. The sale continues Saturday and Sunday.

Friday: 6pm to 9pm/Saturday: 9am to 3pm/Sunday: 1pm to 4pm

September 23 through September 25, Warwick Public Library, 600 Sandy Lane, Warwick

  1. So does this Warwick Friends organization exist outside of the State Library System?

  2. Not quite sure what you mean. Each library has its own Friends group who do fundraising etc for that individual library. Anyone, regardless of where he or she lives, can become a friend of any library they want.

    Does that answer your question?
