Here comes another installment in our continuing campaign to encourage support of local businesses (and my shameless promotion of personal friends). Central Falls printshop Spoon & Sailor is now cranking out gorgeous seasonal cards and gift tags. Some feature delicate green pine boughs, others are gently impressed with white-on-white snowflakes. These — along with the regular line of note cards featuring narwhals and moose and owls — can be ordered at Etsy.

As to the holiday cards — which you may need to get pretty soon — they can also be found downtown at Craftland on Westminster at Union Street. So you can zip right down there and scoop up a package or two.

Spoon & Sailor will also design real swell custom letterpress note cards and invitations for a special event like your wedding or whatnot.

Each card has been hand-fed into a century old Chandler & Price printing press, printed with hand-mixed ink, scored individually on press, folded by hand and assembled as a package for you with love.
