RISCA Grant Deadline Oct 1 — Money For Artists
The Rhode Island State Council for the Arts (RISCA) is accepting applications from artists, designers, and cultural institutions — the deadline is October 1st. Grants are available for organizations, individuals, education, and folk and traditional arts.
October 1 is the deadline for Project Grants for Education, Project Grants to Individuals (PGI), Fellowships in Choreography, Drawing & Printmaking, Music Composition, New Genres, and Painting, the Design Innovation Grant (DIG) and Arts Access (AAG) Grants. Steven Lubecki is an artist living in Providence, RI. He has been a working as a professional goldsmith for over 10 years. Steven has also been studying to become a master bladesmith and has taught classes in both subjects. He is a graduate of the Maine College of Art with a degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelry. . . . He currently owns Steven Lubecki Designs; Jewelry trade technical services, custom knives, and jewelry.
In addition to metalsmithing, the variety of disciplines in this round included sculpture, fiction, animation, film & video, folk arts, photography, and poetry.
October 1st is also the deadline for the Cultural Facilities Grants for projects that renovate or improve existing cultural facilities.
