Providence ‘Jane’s Walk Festival’
(5.7) When I saw the title of David Brussat’s walk this Saturday, I knew I had the photo to go with it. Join the former ProJo architecture critic for “Providence’s Waterfront — The Good, the Bad and The Ugly” at noon on Saturday. I suppose he will be focused on the buildings, but something should be done about low tide. (The aroma on this day made my eyes water. The people on the boat must have been gasping.)
Fifteen volunteer-led neighborhood tours are scheduled through Sunday including: The International Slave Trade; History of the Jewelry District; Discover the Moshassuck River; Life on La Broa — Broad Street; Citizens of the North Burial Ground; West Broadway/Armory Walk, and more.
