The lovely ladies of Providence’s underground exercise scene will be there bearing clipboards, whistles, and their closest approximation to gym teacher attire as they dole out no-carb to all-carb drinks for all of you looking for revenge against the pullup bar. CFCFG will be conducting fitness testing through the night, so be prepared to show off your very best high jump, forward roll*, and sit-and-reach to earn a free drink from those tough-to-please taskmasters. As an extra bonus, CFCFG will also be unveiling their first movie, a move-for-move approximation of the Eric Prydz’s “Call On Me” music video. Come and watch - you might see someone you recognize!”

the co-ed fight club for girls return (again) to e&o monday, june 9th, 8pm-12am for yet another brutal night of biceps, bruises and beer. i’m pretty sure there’ll be free food, new faces, ridonk sweatsuits, and possibly the world premiere of CFCFG’s very own potentially embarrassing/undoubtedly outrageous dance party workout music video party party party dance video.

And I really mean smoking. Our kickball team may need to get some nicotine patches from the team doctor so that in the future they can play with both hands. At any rate, the PDD Burnsiders got roughed up by some totally gay pirates earlier today — we need not rearrange the trophy cabinet for these gorgeous bowl-things. (At least I don’t think we won. I didn’t actually ask anybody but it sure looked like losing.)

And it’s still going on, and on, and on. (Last match starts at 5PM.) Get down to the Parade Ground behind the Armory. (Parade Street off of Westminster.)

As someone who was voted ‘most likely to twist her ankle’ in high school I can’t identify with this activity at all. I have been known to injure myself squeezing out a sponge. This morning’s ProJo has an article about the Co-ed Fight Club for Girls at the E&O Tap. (Unfortunately Monday is my Scrabble night and on Thursdays I have to sit on my couch.) The hard copy has a great photo of artist Josie Morway… maybe these are her feet… as well as other great pix inside. I just want to get this link up. Other dosers may want to elaborate but are not famous for getting up early on Sundays.

I have never really been told what my responsibilities are supposed to be around here, but I know I’m the go-to gal for all things ‘Andrew W.K.’ and here’s the latest. It seems the talented boys over at Lucid T.V. have executed a couple of Andrew-themed comic strips, one of which has elaborated a new index now in use by medical professionals everywhere… the BPR… Basal Partybolic Rate!
