ABBA - Eine Karriere in Bildern Throw a better pool party!!!! We could’ve had a more fun time at Mirabar on any random Tuesday night. In fact, we did — this week.

And is music too much to ask for? Even some ABBA would’ve sufficed — certainly better than the argon buzz of the GTECH logo that loomed over the ‘festivities.’

BAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trench Coat Man This email landed in our inbox this morning, and since I am facing an indefinite stint of unemployment beginning tomorrow, this seems like a very lucrative opportunity to make some money while securing some valuable contacts within the European banking community. Who’s with me?

“Hello, It gives me a great deal of pleasure to write you this mail and even when it might come to you as a surprise, I hope you find it of interest. Let me first introduce myself. My name is David Timms. I am an Executive Auditor with a Bank here in Europe, I would like to use this means to ask your assistance in moving some fund over to your country.

Amuse My Bouche

Popping Champagne Cork I’m not an expert, I just drink a lot.An aperitif, or topped off with orange juice in the morning. Engagements, weddings, divorces, graduations, pay raises or lay-offs. We’ve always found reasons to drink champagne.

Now, I drink champagne as often as possible and for no occasion at all, but there is one day of the year when popping a bottle is de rigueur. New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to figure out how to open a bottle without taking out your best friend’s eye, and then let the bubbles go straight to your head.

While it’s easy to find a delicious bottle of non-fizzy wine for under $10, what we think of as the really good champagne costs upwards of $35. Andre is a super-cheap solution to expensive sparkling wine, and it’s quite drinkable for $4, but you can avoid the initial wincing of the first sip and the unfortunate hangover for just a few more dollars. AS220 Community Print Shop: December Schedule

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Akward Printmaking DECEMBER 2007!!! The brutal month before JANUARY 2008, horrifying!!!!! The print shop still breathes, heavy, thirsting for new friends and classmates. Clawing through the ink-soaked rags of downtown Providence, drooling education and reeking of a strange allure, a distorted, musky scent, familiar and yet distant, the indescribable waft of learning and fun, disgusting yet delicious. What fate will the print shop hold?? What crusty tears have dried on thine eyes of lead?
Located at 95 Mathewson street, two floors above the darkened hallows of Local 121 in the castle Dreyfus, the print shop lays in patient wait. Wait for what? For WHOM? Only time will tell. (more…)
