Providence Preservation Society’s 5th Winter Bash

Come join the Providence Preservation Society for its 5th Annual Winter Bash! Highlighting preservation and rehabilitation of the city’s historic resources. Featuring live music by the Cusacks, creative hors d’oeuvres, and full cash bar. The attire ranges from blue jeans to ball gowns. Last year, over 1,000 people partied the night away at the Sharpe Building. This year’s event promises to be even bigger.

Tickets are only $30 per person or $100 for Patron tickets which includes a pre-bash reception.

• 5:30pm. Urban Planet holiday shindig at MoJo’s
• 6-9pm. Millcraft at Firehouse 13: This year’s artwork varies in character and price as well as it does in flavor and attitude. Quirky shirts, cool-ass cups, and new wave action figures are among some of the items for sale at Millcraft 2007. Come to Firehouse13 and help support artists living and working in Providence Rhode Island (and buy neat stuff).
• 6pm. Young Dems annual fundraiser at Cuban Revolution in Olneyville. Um… your chance to fight the system from within. (Try not to get chewed-up and spit-out.)
• 9pm-1am. Us. That Daily Dose thinga-majig. At Local Whatever. Scroll to the top of the page for details.

The city’s most happening neighborhood association has its annual fundraiser on Friday:

When: December 7th, 2007 @7pm until closing
Where: Bravo Brasserie, 135 Empire Street, Providence RI
What: $30 per ticket includes:
• Free entry into door prize raffle
• One complimentary glass of red/white wine or soda
• Delicious festive fare

  As I extricate myself from the clutches of this insomnia, I’ll leave you with one more post.
