“Move to Stop AIDS” Dance-A-Thon!

Join YUGA in our second annual Move to Stop AIDS Dance-A-Thon! We are raising awareness about the fact that there are 40 million people in this world living with HIV/AIDS and millions more affected by it.

There will be a live dj, dance contests, artwork, food, a cash bar and a huge raffle that you won’t want to miss!

It’s time to get moving and hold our world leaders accountable to reach the Millennium Development Goal of halting and reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Dance-a-thon: How You Can Get Involved
There are 4 fun ways you can get involved in the Move To Stop AIDS Dance-A-Thon!!

1. Attend the Dance-A-Thon
– Organize a team and register online, then get people to sponsor you for the dance-a-thon!
For every $5 dollars you raise you’ll receive one ticket for the raffle!
– Or just come to the Dance-A-Thon and show your support! Admission is $10 dollars at the door if you’re not a sponsored dancer, and raffle tickets will be for sale all night long!

2. Sponsor a Dancer
You can support young people by sponsoring a dancer online. All funds our dancers raise will support Plan USA’s HIV/AIDS program in Uganda!

3. Make a Donation
Donate directly to the project! This year all funds raised will go to support Plan USA’s HIV/AIDS program in Uganda. One hundred percent of your donation will go toward providing youth affected by HIV/AIDS with quality secondary education, vocational training and Post Test Clubs that provide community support.

4. Spread the Word!
Help YUGA raise awareness and raise money for those affected by HIV/AIDS. Tell your friends about the dance-a-thon and encourage them to organize a dance team or just show up and spend the night dancing with us!

5. Join the Cause
Join the YUGA Global HIV/AIDS Cause on Facebook to show your support and stay connected to us throughout the year!
