Call me a flaming nelly, but I think it’s hysterically funny whenever anyone performs at the Columbus Theater and describes it as being Live On Broadway.
Although the odds of catching a show on Broadway are far less likely than the odds of getting a haircut or tattoo, you’ll have two chances for a good old-fashioned theatrical show at the under-utilized Columbus this week. This Friday and Saturday, local drag performer (and Tuesday night Dark Lady karaoke hostess) Sabrina Blaze puts on a one-queen show as a benefit for AIDS Care Ocean State. Last year’s event sold out, so you might want to get your tickets in advance by calling 821-7728, although the going rate for tickets ($30 and $35) is a little on the steep side.
Hello although I appreciated your article i felt that the comment about the price wasn’t necessary and counter productive . The purpose would be to help sell tickets . Not discourage it based on the price . This was no ordinary drag show . I had a full orchestra a cast of 10 dancers and three back up singers .A long with amazing costumes and a crew of 15 people to pull off the lighting sound and special effects . I flew in on a 16 foot sun and had many special features .
This show rivaled any road show that comes to p pac . All my people are paid and we give a substantial donation to charity .

Is that a drag queen or a herm?
