Pampers Change n Go

All parent know that when you’re out and about, it’s not easy to find a clean, private place to stop and change your baby’s diaper. For example, My husband and I were in the elevator at providence place mall en route to the bus stop with precious little time to spare, and I’m standing there changing our newborn’s sopping diaper while it’s moving and then while we’re exiting the ‘vator and walking (quickly, mind you) down the hall. Not everyone is super mom and would be able to do that – esp if you don’t have an extra two hands to take care of the stroller and 50 million other accessories that come with having kids.

In comes Pampers Change n Go diaper pants with slip in pads. Think – womenly product, but for babies. These aren’t in stores yet, and I only received the email this morning, so I haven’t tried them myself, but I can see how this is a good product for my situation.

You see, it’s been 2 years since the mall incident and we’re potty training now. The problem comes in long car rides. My daughter does great, but I’m pulling over at every other gas station hoping she hasn’t wet herself, and making myself a nervous wreck. The only other time she wears a diaper is at night, and these don’t work for that…so probably not worth the money when I could use my old sanitary napkins for peace of mind.

They’re being marketed as great for playtime, naptime, and for parents on the go. Compact, Hygenic, and easy as 1-2-3. These diapers sound great for a pre-potty training baby that spends a lot of time in public places.

Actually, these are perfect for single dads. How many times have you brought your baby into the men’s room just to walk away without changing a diaper because there’s no changing station?
