A new vending machine in Faunce House will soon cater to students’ late-night cravings for more than just the munchies.

In the next two weeks, a vending machine containing condoms, dental dams, lube and latex gloves will be installed in the gender-neutral bathroom on the second floor of Faunce in order to provide students with 24-hour access to contraception. Condoms (both lubed and unlubed) and latex gloves will cost 10 cents, lube will be 25 cents and flavored dental dams will be available for 50 cents.

  1. Does anyone actually use dental dams? Latex gloves? Really?

I know sex is dangerous these days, and condoms are important if you don’t have a special someone that you’re all trusty with, but I don’t think I know anyone who’s used a latex glove or a dental dam in a sex act, outside of trying it once.

I can’t think of anything that sounds worse than a flavored dental dam.

Now, if they’d only bring back that vending machine that dispensed pizzas.
