Up in Pawtucket on Saturday is an amazing art and music party hosted by Rhode Island’s Resources For Human Development.
RHD-RI is an arts-based day program for artists with disabilities, and Second Sight represents an expansion of its original, already successful services. The amazing artists at RHD write stories, skits, songs & poetry which they often perform live and record for viewing. They also work in paint, wood, ceramics and make clocks, jewelry, shirts, cards, etc.
On Dec. 6th from 12-5pm, Second Sight will be holding its Grand Opening/Bizarre Holiday Bazaar which will feature the above mentioned art items for sale, plus live music and comedic performances by house bands such as the incredible Mrs. Six Eyes, the Flying Snitches, Half Man Half Human and more! Excellent Christmas gifts, cards, pottery, paintings, bags, t-shirts, CDs and more on the cheap!
More art after the jump…
RHD-RI/Second Sight is located in the American Insulated Wire Mill, 413 Central Ave., Pawtucket. (Google map) 12 noon to 5pm, awesome art and gifts, cash n’ carry!
