The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is predicting that air quality will reach unhealthy levels in all of Rhode Island, in the mid to late afternoon on Friday. A very warm and humid air mass will be present for today, which means unhealthy air conditions. The poor air quality is due to elevated ground level ozone concentrations.
