Democratic Candidates For U.S. Congressional District One Debate

house chamber This is the House Chamber in the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. Four democrats — David Segal, Anthony Gemma, David Cicilline, William Lynch and David Segal — want to represent Rhode Island District One in this chamber. (The democratic primary is September 14th.) The candidates will debate the issues on Tuesday night at the Providence Performing Arts Center. WPRI is sponsoring the event.

The debate begins at 7pm on WPRI 12 and WPRI.com. At 8, the candidates stick around for another half hour to answer more questions in a special online-only segment.

Hosted by Eyewitness News anchor Mike Montecalvo and moderated by Target 12 Investigator and “Newsmakers” host Tim White, the debate will be broadcast live from the Providence Performing Arts Center in downtown Providence.
