The MOTB people must be thrilled with this weather forecast — they’ve been up against it all summer. Tonight’s installment in the series is the 1979 classic ‘Rocky II’. Writing for The New York Times Janet Maslin described Stallone as “unexpectedly affable”, a dream blurb for the publicity department to be sure. This film is a good choice for an outdoors movie where you aren’t always paying attention and catching every line of dialogue. You will never get left behind by the complexities of the plot. Plus, music by Providence native Bill Conti!
