The FirstWorks Festival 2010 runs through November, and there are just too many things — dance, theater, new media installations, visual arts — for us to list all of them. But here’s one event, should you need another thing to do on Sunday. . . pretty much the opposite of Roller Derby.
Heather Henson will summon soaring puppets, beautiful projections, and fluid movement as she carries forward the legacy of her father Jim Henson during the second weekend of the FirstWorks Festival 2010. Heather Henson and her troupe of 11 performers will animate the world of migrating cranes, pacing panthers and wading alligators—and the challenges threatening their way of life in Panther and Crane.
What was it like having Jim Henson as your dad?
