Ward 11 City Council Candidates Debate Monday

The Providence League of Women Voters, the Friends of Knight Memorial Library and Providence Community Library will be presenting a debate between the Providence Ward 11 City Council seat candidates tonight, Monday, October 25th at 6:45pm. It will take place at Knight Memorial Library, 275 Elmwood Avenue in Providence. The public is encouraged to come out, hear the views of the candidates and ask them questions.

  1. Pretty disappointed that the Davian Sanchez, the democratic candidate skipped on the debate- doesn’t do much to lead me to believe in his abilities, especially at his age. His facebook page treats his endorsement by the democratic party as an entitlement to the seat.

    Carrie Marsh showed she is a smart, committed and able candidate for the ward seat and I came away impressed. Davino didn’t seem to have any answers or ideas to the massive challenges in this district, and his only qualifications seem to be his 30 years as a resident of the ward.
