The inauguration of Angel Taveras as Providence’s 37th Mayor will take place TODAY – Monday, January 3rd. In recognition of this day, there will be several inaugural festivities celebrating the City of Providence and Taveras’s vision for its future. You are invited to attend the ceremony and celebration as the Taveras Administration embarks on the important work ahead to move Providence forward.

5 – 6 pm Nathanael Greene Middle School
6 – 7 pm Classical High School
The Inaugural Neighborhood Events are being held at the schools that Angel attended growing up as a child in the City of Providence. All events are free and open to residents and friends of the City of Providence. All events offer refreshments and are alcohol-free.
