The West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA) launches its annual membership drive while celebrating the west side neighborhood during its annual game-filled, all ages Roll-the-Dice Membership Kick-off Party.
Residents and businesses here have much to celebrate. Despite tough economic times, neighbors continue to come together around issues that impact them, such as crime, historic preservation and responsible development. There is also a renewed sense of urgency to support local businesses, as reflected in the WBNA’s SWELL (Shop, Work, Eat and Live Locally) campaign and member discount program. But west siders are known for having fun as well as for creating positive change in the community. This year’s Roll-the-Dice Membership Party, now in its eighth year, is no exception.
