  1. Ichapop Cranium

Pastor Clinker is a model of the true inspired teacher of the way of divine love and justice, which is always peaceful and pacifist, not militaristic, violent, or hateful, but also energetic and righteous. Unfortunately the sanctimonious mummies and raging zombies who clamor under the influence of hate-mongers from the fundamentalist fascism movement and the Roman Catholic ongoing inquisition and psychological torture corporation are rabidly opposed to hearing the voices that humbly yet courageously channel the enlightened energy conjured by the ancient writers who composed the literary character of Iesous Christos in various creative ways. Pastor Clinker reads the ancient words in their original languages –meaning he put in the long time and discipline necessary to LEARN those languages– and carefully studies their contexts and historical/cultural circumstances. Unfortunately his (and our) hateful, judgmental, hypocritical attackers will recognize the error of their ways only when it is too late to undue the damage they have done to so many gentle and joyful spirits and souls, and they may never develop any organic sensitivity, compassion, or empathy toward their fellow human beings or even themselves. This is the programmatic horror of the religious frenzy that is both fundamentalism and Catholicism in this society that a demented few claim as a ‘Christian Nation’. Hundreds of thousands of innocent beautiful people have been murdered with the AIDS virus circulated by the Eugenics movement in both Africa and the United States during the Reagan-Bush tyranny. If these people were Christians, wouldn’t they energetically trumpet the core messages of the Messianic teaching? When was the last time you saw a highway billboard simply saying “Love your neighbor as yourself” or “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”? “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, this you do unto me”? “It is more difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven than it is for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.” A contemporary troubadour revivifies the message when she sings “My church and country could use a little mercy now, as they sink into a poison pit it’s take gonna take forever to crawl out. / Every living thing could use a little mercy now; I know we don’t deserve it, but we need it anyhow.” Thank you Pastor Clinker for speaking the truth among the demons of hell. Such is how the message reincarnates through eternity.

  2. I fail to see how anyone can connect murder with same-sex couples who want the legal protections that marriage offers. Often, gay and lesbian persons have been rejected by their families and completely cut off from all communication. Why should anyone who treated a family member horribly just because of their sexual orientation be allowed to come in at the end of the gay person’s life and take charge over matters. Why should estranged family members (or the state) get to make medical decisions for a person they didn’t care about under ordinary circumstances over a chosen partner? This is strictly a matter of human civil rights and has nothing to do with religous beliefs. This is why the founding fathers were smart enough to call out for separation of church and state. The reason churches are brought into the discussion is that they receive special tax exemption status and yet are somehow able to directly contribute to political campaigns that have a purpose of denying specific target groups of their civil rights. This is not separation of church and state and if churches are going to be allowed to behave this way, they should lose their tax exempt status.

The real issue is a complete lack of understanding that homosexuality is normal for a proportion of the population. That same-sex attraction is not something that was chosen but is something that occured naturally in those persons. So long as two consenting adults form a loving, supporting relationship with each other, absolutely no harm can come to society. And the difference between that and murder is that nobody is harmed and two more people are happy productive citizens of this great country. The only harm that can possibly come from this is the fear of those who fear and don’t understand that homosexuals already exist in every facet of everyday life, fighting on the front line in wars for our freedom, saving the lives of other people through medicine, working in charities, possibly sitting right next to you or a few pews away in church but in fear of what might happen to them if you knew.

Sorry, but murder and gay marriage are absolutely nothing alike.

  3. I’m glad that this cleric agrees that murder is wrong and sinful. If you can justify so-called same-sex marriage, you can justify just about anything. Justifying murder based on consent, fairness, civil rights and equality could be just around the corner. I’m not sure what religious faith this man is associated with, but it shows quite well what happens when you divorce the Scriptures from any kind of legitimate teaching authority. I also noticed that he mentioned the Catholic Church as opposing this nonsense, but there are many other denominations that are opposed to it, as well as many non-religious people. As usual, more Catholic bashing. May God lead all to the Truth.
