You Had Me At Keytar

JD Fingers Fontanella Live music! Spandex! Head over to Machines With Magnets tomorrow night, Wednesday July 6, for some mid-week mayhem with local faves Amil Byleckie Band.

Amil Byleckie Band was formed out of a terrifying near-death convergence of weird thinking. This super group — and don’t take that lightly; they are in fact super — arose from the darkness of the spring of 2010, combining forces like Mega Voltron, to support the ego-maniacal pop manifestations of Amil “The Band” Byleckie. On bass guitar, local hand model and lord of delusion Cordey “Licks” Lopez holds down the low-end rhythm of lonely, forgotten hearts; on his home-made keytar, mad inventor and government-recognized wild man JD “Fingers” Fontanella shreds brains into another dimension of hyper reality; and Diego “Skins” Perez, formerly known as Bilbo Baggins in a past life, pounds the drums to the beat of eternity. Together these spandex clad heartthrobs are ready to dominate your basement show, house party, or bedroom wall for a night of unforgettable, feverish sweating and dancing that will last until your heart explodes.

Also, Dangerous Boys Club (of the Get Hustle), DJ Nightschool, and Abe Sada. “Sexy dark electro from Portland Oregon meets sexy glam pop from Providence RI.”

$8, 9pm, Wednesday, July 6, Machines With Magnets, 400 Main Street, Pawtucket, 475.2655
