Having fun on Gallery Night

August is packed with great guides.  Costume/clothing designer Marilyn Salavtore guides you on a contemporary art tour at 5:30 pm.   A bicycle tour takes off at 5:30, led by Urban Arts director Jason Yoon and Recycle-A-Bike coordinator Jenna Johns-Yu.  URI gallery director Steven Pennell and actor/director Frank Toti lead a tour called “How to Look at Art” at 6 pm.  .  Collectors Robin Halpern-Ruder and Beth Rabin guide a collectors tour at 7 pm.   And painter Monica Shinn takes you on a tour at 6 pm.  If tours aren’t your thing, just park your car at One Regency Place in downtown Providence and wander through the galleries on Atwells Avenue or downtown.  Check out our website for more, gallerynight.info, or give us a call at 401 490-2042.
