What if you threw a party and instead of hors d’oeuvres you started handing your guests crates of LP’s and 78’s and pointed to a steep flight of stairs? How long would that last? Well, apparently there are advantages to being . . . you know, nice . . . and last Wednesday that finally paid off for the Daltrys when a sweaty, stinky crew of buddies, bandmates, and neighbors helped move the contents of What Cheer Antiques up the stairs, up the street, and into the light! Check out the gorgeous new shop upstairs at the corner of Thayer and Angell, right above Chipotle and next door to the Kind Connection. More room for the vintage clothes, easy browsing of the vinyl, good flow, new extended hours . . . and windows!
Seven Days: Monday thru Thursday 11am to 7pm/Friday and Saturday, 11am to 8pm/Sunday, noon to 5pm.
