Farm Fresh Rhode Island is rolling out a brand new farmers market for Providence residents, this one serving the Silver Lake neighborhood around Neutaconkanut Park on Plainfield Street.
The market will be located near the pool and recreation center — don’t miss the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:30pm (Monday, July 9th).
(These exact cherry tomatoes may, or may not, be available this Monday . . . we don’t know. It’s just file footage from a similar vegetable-related event.)
Neutaconkanut Farmers Market, Mondays 3pm to 6pm (from July 9 through October 29), Neutaconkanut Park, Plainfield Street (near Laurel Hill Avenue)
Oh hey, just want to let you know that the park is several blocks away from Laurel Hill Ave — actually behind the intersection of Plainfield & Duxbury. It looks like FFRI has the wrong info in their map, assuming the market is actually at Neut. Park.
